I'm Michaela Ježová. I cut and colour hair in the centre of Pilsen, and I don't start with scissors - I start by sitting down with you and going through what your hair can take and how much time you really have for it in the morning.

A consultation at the start, not after the cut
About thirty minutes, free, as part of your visit. Diagnosis of both scalp and lengths. I design the cut around your face and around how much time you actually have in the morning - not around a trend.
No drugstore colour
I work with Italian Davines. A healthy scalp and a style that survives at home are part of the brief, not a bonus at the end.
Precision in both cut and colour
The craft in the execution is what you are paying for. I treat it as part of the offer, not as an extra.

You know in advance who will be working on your hair. This is not a chain or a rotation of staff - it is me the whole time.
Training, and a place that supports it
I attend courses regularly. I work at the Honka Hair salon in the centre of Pilsen - full-spectrum lighting, plants, specialty coffee and matcha.
What I work with
Davines. Italian cosmetics that don't shortchange your scalp
I don't pick colour or care by price. I have worked with Davines for years because I can see the difference on my clients' hair - it isn't left dry after colouring and the style holds longer than until the first wash.

- I run colouring and lightening so that the scalp stays healthy. That is why diagnosis comes at the start of every visit, not once something has gone wrong.

Brick, plants and light that shows the real colour
The setting isn't decoration. Full-spectrum lighting is the only light in which colour can be judged honestly - the rest is here so that the four hours of a colouring appointment are hours you enjoy.

The Honka Hair salon is run by Jiří Honka, a former Davines trainer. Hair Mishell is my own brand - the salon is the place where I work.

The consultation is included in your visit. Times and prices are for the usual scope; longer, thicker or badly damaged hair takes more work and costs more. I'll always tell you before we start, never at the end.

Míša is a hairstylist who is constantly expanding her knowledge so that she can not only offer advice but also know what’s best for your hair at the salon. She’s very kind and accommodating, and above all, she has a great professional approach-she discusses possible options with you and advises on what’s best, uses gentle products, and provides your hair with the nourishment it so often needs (especially if you have damaged or wavy hair). I’ve had both a haircut and a color done there, and I highly recommend her!
